Sarah Brallier also known as Sarah (and sometimes called Salome or Sally), was the daughter of Samuel & Christina (Brumbaugh) Brallier.
She moved from Pennsylvania with her father Samuel Brallier and step-mother Anna Marie (Mock) Garber Brallier sometime before 1830 to Jefferson Twp., Richland Co., OH.
Sarah met and later married Abraham Study Leedy who farmed his father's land just south of her in Berlin Twp., Knox Co., OH on 09-15-1836 in Jefferson Twp., Richland Co., OH.
They first started housekeeping in both Knox and Richland Co.s, OH. In 1846 his father purchased 80 acres of ground in Washington Twp., Kosciusko Co., IN for him and on 10-10-1847 Abraham Leedy and Sally Leedy moved from OH with the first 4 of their children to Washington Twp., Kosciusko Co., IN, to make a new home. Reportedly during the trip Sally Leedy walked behind the wagon driving the cows.
Her step-mother Anna Maria (Mock) Garber Brallier, a widow, reportedly came with them in their wagon and resided with Sarah and her husband Abraham Study Leedy until her death in Kosciusko Co., IN on 04-13-1850.
By 1853 Abraham & Sally Leedy's family had 5 sons and 1 daughter; 6 children total who lived to maturity.
