The family first appears upon the records of the Church of Christ in Fairfield, January 13, 1694, when Sarah, wife of Edward Lacey, was admitted as a member. June 20, 1694, their six children were baptized - Edward, John, Henry, Sarah, Mary, Elizabeth.
