Scott Ray Wygant, 69, of Coldwater, passed away Sunday June 5, 2022 in the care of Glen Arbor Hospice.
No formal services are currently planned.
Scott was born on October 11, 1952 in Sturgis, MI to Victor and Margo (Caywood) Wygant. He attended Sturgis Schools and then joined the US Army in 1977, where he earned his GED. Scott was honorably discharged in 1983.
Scott always loved Westerns, from an early age, right up to the end! He loved fishing, hunting, and being outside, preferably out West. At the young age of seven, Scott learned how to play the guitar. He also loved riding his horse, Shane, which later in life he had to switch to his Harley motorcycle, but both brought him great joy.
Scott is survived by his two sons, Josh (Jenni) Wygant of Three Rivers and Esteban Wygant of Bronson; step-grandchildren, Mason and Oliver of Three Rivers; his siblings, Victoria (Randy) Reinoehl of Sturgis and Thomas (Birgit) Wygant of Athens; step-siblings, Gloria Tate, Larry and Mike Barnett, all of Sturgis; step-mom, Joyce Wygant; nieces and nephews, Mike and Matt Ultz of Sturgis, Margo Smith of Burr Oak, Casandra Hamlin and Tara Sparrow; two aunts and many cousins.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
We'd like to say a special thank you to Glenn Arbor Hospice of Battle Creek for their excellent care of Scott.
