Sebastian Naff came to America before his brother, Jacob Naff, Sr. They both settled in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Sebastian probably moved to Frederick County, Maryland by 1787. In 1792 Sebastian moved to Franklin County, Virginia, joining his brother, Jacob. Sebastian's farm was at the junction of the North and South forks of the Blackwater River.
