Brief overview:
Sefololoko (48), a farmer from Bazalwana, Gowan Lea, Kokstad, was murdered and set alight in his home on 16th September 2020. The perpetrators stole a total of 34 sheep, of which 14 were already dead when the police stopped the vehicle they were driving in. Two goats and three blankets were also found inside the vehicle.
Three suspects aged between 17 and 23 were arrested. They are due to appear in the Kokstad Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 21st September 2020. They will be charged for murder, house robbery and arson.
