About Sgt. John Batchelder

John's daughter Mary died "in child-bed" in 1659 at the age of 19, the mother of John. John (and his brother Joseph) raised his grandchild rather than his father, Mighill Cressey, who was 31 when Mary died.

IMPORTANT NOTE Pierce (695) says he died 10 Sep 1675 on page 347 and 13 Sep 1675 on page 348. Pope (471) says he died 13 Sep 1675. Cutter (638) says he died 17 Nov 1698, but I think Cutter confuses several different BACHELLERs together.
