Stephen Story (born about 1716) was the son of Sgt. Jacob Storey and Martha (Burley) Storey His birth is not recorded in Ipswich VR. Stephen died when he was about 80 years old, on 14 May 1796.[4]

Stephen Story married Elizabeth Story, the daughter of Seth Story and Martha Low, on 10 Jan 1739. When she died on 13 Jul 1791, he married the widow, Anna Jones, on 27 Nov 1791.[2]
