In 1830 census, he had 1 male under 5, 1 5-10, 1 10-15, 1 15-20 and 1 male 20-30, just 1 female 20-30 . ) Sally b. 1804, m. Philander Underwood, children James F. and John, quitclaimed land from father in 1828. Sometimes it looks like she was married to James Jones too, just like her aunt Sarah Leach who married James Jones in Pelham and came to Cortland Co. with her brother Alexander Leach Sr. She was over 18 when her father died in 1827 as he said "when called for" instead of "when she reaches the age of 18 if called for" She d. 1872.
