Both mary and Shirley and their spouses in 1920 attended the anniversary celebration of louis and dora nudelman in Chicago dec. 10th. Both sisters were pictured in the family photo.Both sisters were instrumental in transitioning their cousin bea sprecher Brownstein move from Chicago to los angeles in the late twenties.Bea and sam sold off their curtain and lace business to a employee of their company,sold their manor ave. home when bea's parents passed,and moved to los angeles calif. for the warm weather would help bea's husband's heart condition.The sisters showed bea all the sights of los angeles,showed her where to shop,drive her first car by herself,how to pick up relations from the airport,and just get settled in on the west coast.The sisters were like parents or sisters to bea as bea lost her parents early in life as did the sisters lose their mother(1920) before their cousin bea did in 1922.Both the sister and bea mother's were biological sisters lena and marion fannie.
