BOSSIER CITY, LA - A Mass of Christian Burial for Sidney Joseph Boudreaux, Sr., 86, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Christ the King Catholic Church, with Father Charles Glorioso, pastor of the church officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be 5-7:30 p.m. with a rosary service at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2009 at Rose-Neath's Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA.
He was born July 3, 1922 in Lafayette, LA to Mitchel Joseph and Aline Whitmeyer Boudreaux and died March 26, 2009 in Bossier City, LA. Mr. Boudreaux was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, retired from the U.S.Air Force, served in WWII and Korea, a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Bossier Council, an active membr of Boy Scouts of America and also retired from Honeywell.
His wife, May Ruth Boudreaux preceded him in death.
Mr. Boudreaux is survived by sons, Sidney Joseph Boudreaux, Jr. of Keithville, LA, Leonard Boudreaux of Bossier City, LA, daughters, Sharon Radicello of Bossier City, LA, Denise Prince and husband Jim of Marshall, TX, sisters, Bella Mae Dyer of Houston, TX, Eloise Cathcart of Tulsa, OK, grandchildren, Peter Radicello, Lorene Boudreaux, Marie Boudreaux, Titus Boudreaux, Micah Boudreaux and Mitchell Boudreaux, great-grandchildren, Lydia Boudreaux and Isaac Radicello and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special "Thank You" to the LA War Veterans Home, especially the 2nd wing staff and Dr. Roy M. Fleiniken.
