Sidney J Hill

EPHRATAH - Sidney J. Hill, 85. of St. Johnsville RD1, died at 9:20 last night at the Canajoharie Nursing Home where he had been a patient since July 20. Born Oct. 11, 1886 at Caroga Lake, he was the son of Frank A. and Jane E. Mosher Hill and had been a a lifelong Fulton County resident. He had been in failing health for the past five years. On July 14. 1914. he married the former Miss Mav Peterson, who died May 20, 1971. He was-a-farmer in the Town of Ephratah for many years, was a member of Ephratah Methodist Church and of the Ephratah Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Paul Hansen of Fresno.
