About Silas Fisher, Chief to the Choctaw Nation

He was the son of Joseph Fisher. He returned from An Academy School in KY in 1828.He married Mary Kelley, daughter of Abner. and lived with them before emmigrating to OK Choctaw Nation. He was a Captain in Chief Greenwood Leflores District He signed both the Dancing Rabbit Treaty in 1830 and the Choctaw and Chickasaw Agreement in 1837. He was a commissioner for the Choctaw Nation. He was also a Clerk of the convention held in Skullyville in 1857.
