About Sir Alexander Freville
Alexander Freville was a son of Sir Baldwin Freville,(whose father was also named Baldwin), and Maud Gifford of Boyton, Wiltshire.
Alexander Freville married Joan de Cromwell about 1277. Alexander and Joan had the following children: Margaret (Freville) de Wilington; Baldwin (Freville) de Freville and Elizabeth (Freville) de Whitney.
Sir Alexander de Freville (or Friville) of Tamworth, County Warwick was summoned for military service against the Scots on April 5, 1327 by Writ directed "Alexandro de Frevill".
