About Sir Andrew Noel Agnew, 9th Baronet of Lochnaw

He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Wigtownshire in 1893.

He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 1st Ayrshire and Galloway Artillery Volunteers.

He was admitted to Royal Company of Archers.

He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wigtownshire.

He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for the University of Edinburgh between 1900 and 1906.
