Sir David Graham, Laird of Kincardine was born circa 1295 at of Kincardine, Perthshire, Scotland. He married Helen of Strathearn, daughter of Malise, 7th Earl of Strathearn and Joanna de Menteith, in October 1354. Sir David Graham, Laird of Kincardine died after 4 April 1373 at Montrose Castle, Angus, Scotland.2

Sir David Graham of Kincardine and Old Montrose; died after 4 April 1373

David was probably an only son. He was known for his patriotism and valour. He was one of the barons who negotiated the ransom of King David II after he was captured by the English at the Battle of Durham in 1346. He sat in Parliament in 1357 when the treaty for King David's release was approved. He took an oath of homage and fealty to King Robert II in 1371.

Father of: Sir Patrick (#10), a son, John, and a daughter (m William, 7th Earl of Ross).

Sir David Graham of Kincardine and of Old Montrose is the son of Sir David Graham of Kincardine. He was one of the Scottish magnates who negotiated the ransom by the English of King David II of Scotland following the latter's capture at the Battle of Durham. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) [Scotland] in 1357. On the 27th of March 1371 he swore fealty to King Robert II of Scotland. On the 4th of April 1373 he witnessed the 2nd Act of Settlement of the Crown of Scotland.
