Son and heir to John Norbury and Elizabeth Boteler. Grandson of Thomas de Norbury, Thomas Boteler and Alice Beauchamp.

Husband of Anne Crozier, daughter and heiress of William Crozier and his wife Edith. She was the widow of Ingram Bruyn and Richard Tyrell. They married before 1436, and were the parents of two sons and five daughters:

Henry mustered at Portsmouth in Dec 1435 with 29 men at arms and 400 archers for France. They relieved Rouen in 1436. In 1450 he led a detachment at the siege of Valgones, and was taken prisoner at the Battle of Formigny.
