• Sir Hugh Owen, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Hugh Owen, 1st Bt. and Frances Philips.2 He married, firstly, Anne Owen, daughter of Henry Owen.1 He married, secondly, Catharine Griffith, daughter of William Griffith.1 He died in 1698.1
• He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Owen, of Orielton, co. Pembroke [E., 1641] in 1670.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Pembroke between 1676 and 1695.1
