"Sir James Baird, Baronet [S. 1695], of Saughton Hall, 1st ». and h., suc. to the Baronetcy in Feb. 1697. He m. firstly, in or before 1689, Margaret, da. and coheir of ( — ) Hamilton, of Mountainhall, co. Edinburgh. She was bur. 8 March 1694, at Greyfriars. He m. secondly, his cousin, Elizabeth, da. of Sir John Gibson, of Addiston, co. Edinburgh, by ( — ), da. of his maternal uncle, Malcolm, or Michael Fleming aforesaid. He d. May 1715."
