• Somerset Inq. Monday after St. Hilary, 1 Edw. I.
• A certain bedelry, on the western side of the Perret, worth 40s. yearly, held in fee of the king's gift, rendering nothing.
• Bromfeld. The manor, worth 15l. 12s. 3d. yearly, held of the heir of William de Monte Acuto by service of 1 knight's fee.
• Sok. The manor, worth 40l. yearly, held of John de Bello Campo, of the king's gift as the wardship of Brice, son and heir of William le Deneys, by service of 2 knights' fees.
• Walter de la Lynde, aged 27, is his next heir.
• [Dorset.] Inq. Saturday the morrow of St. Hilary, 1 Edw. I.
• Swere. The manor, worth 100s. yearly, held of Lady Helewysa de Nova Villa, who held of the heirs of William de Monte Acuto, and they of Henry de Novo Burgo, and he of the heir of William Belet, and he of the king in chief for ½ fee.
• Porstok. The bailiwick of the forest, worth 1 mark yearly, held of the king's gift.
• Blakemore. The bailiwick of the forest, worth 100s. yearly, held of the king's gift.
• Hertleghe. A third part of the manor held, by his own purchase, of Sir Edmund earl of Cornwall of the honour of Fordinton manor in serjeanty, rendering 20s. for the whole manor. Lady Clar[ice], late the wife of the said Sir John, holds of her own inheritance another part, and William de Carevile a third part through his wife, who is one of the heirs.
• Gillingeham. The bailiwick, worth 41s. rent yearly, held of the king's gift; and 10 marks and 24d. in other issues.
• The service is unknown, unless to keep the forests faithfully.
• Sir Walter de la Lynde, aged 25 and more, is his next heir.
• [Sussex.] Extent, Monday after St. Hilary 1 Edw. I.
• Bolebrok. The manor (extent given), held in chief of William de Worth by service of 10s.; and the foreign land held of William Wastel, the heirs of Henry de Hertefeld, Maud de Balvetye, and Felicia de Norhamton, by service of 11s. 4½d.

• Surrey. Extent (undated and defective).
• Waleton. The manor (extent given), held of the king in chief by charter of King Henry, by service of ¼ knight's fee.
• Podindene alias Pudindenne. The manor (extent given), held of the king in chief, from which 10s. are due at the king's exchequer; 6l. 9d. foreign rent held of many fees; 54a. arable, and 21a. meadow, held of Ralph de Heghstede; 10a. arable held of the heirs of Chiveninge; 6a. arable held of Margery la Toche; 2a. meadow held of John de la Forde; and 4a. meadow held of John de Brok. • Leyseby near Grimesby. The manor, worth 32l. 12s.¼d. yearly, and two bovates land in Leyseby town, worth 1 mark, held of Sir Hugh de Nevill for homage and service and 1d. rent.
• Leyseby. 1 toft and 7 bovates land, held of Robert de Burewll of the fee of Sir Geoffrey de Bradele for homage and service and 1d.
• Scalleby. A messuage and 15 bovates land, and 8l. 10d. and 1lb. cummin rent, held of Sir Robert Walraum for homage and service and 1 sore sparrowhawk or 2s.
• Sir Walter de la Linde, aged 24 and more, is his next heir.
• Letter from the subescheator in Lindesey in co. Lincoln to the king's escheator, stating that at Leyseby he found persons on behalf of Sir Hugh de Neville who would not permit him to enter, saying that the said John held the manor of Sir Hugh before he held anything of the king, but nevertheless he made the inquisition enclosed. He also seized the fee of Sir Henry de Percy into the king's hand, but the bailiff of Sir J. earl of Warrenne ejected the king on behalf of the wife of the said Sir Henry, daughter of the said earl. Upon which he prays the escheator's aid and counsel.
• Writ, to the escheator to take into the king's hand the manor and serjeanty of Hertleye and Craweford, which Edmund earl of Cornwall and Clarice late the wife of the said John, have occupied. 9 Feb. 2 Edward I.
• Dorset. Inq. Thursday before St. Gregory, 2 Edw. I.
• Hertlegh and Craweford. The manor and serjeanty were held by the said John in fee of Sir Edmund earl of Cornwall in chief and not of the king, excepting 1/6 of the manor which was and is of Clarice late the wife of the said John, who was one of the heirs of the said manor.
• Writ, to the escheator to deliver seisin to Walter son and heir of the said John of the manors of Hertelegh and Craueford with the serjeanty, the seisin of which Edmund earl of Cornwall deforced, and which are now in the king's hands. 39 (sic) March, 2 Edw. I.
• Writ of livery of seisin, (undated draft) as above.
