The Chapel of Scriveslby Court, a small quaint structure, has some parts at least five centuries old. Among its tombs is that of Sir Robert Dymoke, Champion of Richard II, Henry VI, and Henry VII. On the top of his tomb is a plate of brass, on which is a figure in full armour, recumbent, with helmet under his head and a lion at his feet; above the figure is a shield containing the family arms and beneath it is this inscription:
Here lyeth the body of Sir Robert Dymoke, of Scrivelsby, Knight and Baron who departed this life the 22d day of April, in the year of our Lord God MDIXV, upon whose soul Almighty God have mercy. Amen.
