Robert III succeeded his father, and purchased Nether Pever during the reign of Edward III (1330-1376) and served five terms as as Sheriff of Chesire.

Allostock

ALLOSTOCK, a township, in the parish of Great Budworth, union and hundred of Northwich. S. division of the county of Chester, 5 miles (S. by W.) from Nether Knutsford; containing 427 inhabitants. In the reign of Edward I. the manor was conveyed by John de Lostock to the Grosvenors, who had their chief residence here; it afterwards fell to the Leicesters and Shakerleys. The township comprises 2155 acres; the soil is sand and clay. There is a place of worship for Unitarians.

Manor of Alstonefield (Alda Malbank's Share):

Robert Grosvenor's share passed to his son Robert, who held it in 1343 and 1344. It descended in the Grosvenor family of Hulme in Allostock, in Great Budworth parish (Ches.), until the death of Robert Grosvenor in 1465 and the division of his estates among his four daughters.

NOTE: The moiety of the manor of Alstonefield did not come to the Grosvenors until well after Robert. However the text indicates where the manor of Hulme was (in Allostock), and the Topogralphical Dictionary states when Allostock came to the Grosvenors (reign of Edward I:1272-1307). That would place it during Robert's lifetime, and I am assuming that his wife Margery was probably a daughter of John de Lostock.
