About Sir William de Furnival, 4th Baron Furnival
Knight of Sheffield, Yorkshire, of Worksop, Nottinghamshire, of Stoke Farthing in Broad Chalke and Wilsford, Wiltshire.
Younger son of Sir Thomas de Furnival and Joan de Verdun. Grandson of Sir Thomas Furnival and Joan le Despenser, Thebaud Verdun and Maud de Mortimer.
He was the husband of Thomasine, the widow of John de Dagworth of Suffolk who died 16 Aug 1360. They married before 20 Jan 1366 and had one daughter, Joan, who married Sir Thomas de Neville.
Sir William was knighted 14 July 1377, the Tuesday before the coronation of King Richard II. Family Members Parents
