"Pecora Paint Company, Fourth street and Sedgley avenue, Philadelphia; manufacturers of paint specialties and allied lines. Including cement and mortar stains. This business was organized as the Pecora White Lead, Zinc and Color Company, in 1862, by Smith Bowen, who occupied the premises 150 North Fourth street, renting power to Felton, Sibley & Co. Otto Martin and several other manufacturers in the neighborhood. In 1868 he dropped the original title and continued to do business under the name of Smith Bowen. ...."
