My daughter married a Schilke from SW Nebraska. I don't have much to go on, but here is what I have.

Christian Schilke, died in the Imperial, NE area on 12/23/1919. He is buried in the St. Pauls Lutheran Cemetery which I believe is just outside of Imperial.

We don't have a spouse for Christian, but we have a son, Sohn Andreas who married Ehefran Ulricke Schmidt.

According to Doris' records, Sohn Andreas Schilke must have died prior to the move to NE, as he was evidently buried in Brainerd, MN.

Sohn Andreas and Ehefran Ulricke Schmidt Schilke had the following children:

Reihold Albert Weihem b. 5/28/1892 d. 2/13/1983 Amanda O. b. 1/1/1894 d. 2/6/1983 Robert Friedrich Herman b. 9/26/1895 d. 4/13/1984 Martha Emma Elizabeth b. 9/18/1897 d. 7/24/1978 Andreas Otto Richare b. 2/12/1899 d. 7/25/1983 Meta Marie Ulricks b. 4/7/1901 d. 5/26/1973 Lillie Frieda b. 5/18/1904 d. Infant Son b. d. Esther Rose Emma b. 10/5/1905 d. Holdina Ann b. 10/5/1908? d.

Robert is my daughter's husband's direct line. Robert was born in Hayes Center, NE. He died in Imperial and is buried at the Mt. Hope Cemetery of Imperial.

Robert's son, Kermit was Nick's grandpa and Doris was his wife. Kermit died the last of December this past year.

This is all the info that I have so far, but would sure be interested in any information that you could help us on.

My great grandfather Andreas Schilke had a brother named Fred Schilke, also a sister Augusta Deuter. His father was Christian Schilke. I wonder if this is the same family. We know very little about Andreas after he moved from Southwest Nebraska to Minnesota. The family grew up around Blackwood in Hayes County.Any info you have would be great.
