S0lomon S. Mills was born in England on 22 Oct 1822 and died at age 50 in East Vincent Township, Chester County on 15 Feb 1872. He married Hannah Tyson in the Augustus Lutheran Church in Trappe, PA on 9 May 1841. Hannah was born in Chester County, PA on 30 Sep 1821 and died 2 days shy of 29 on 23 Sep 1850. She was admitted as a member of the East Vincent Reformedd Church in the Spring of 1845.
According to the 1850 U.S. Census, Solomon Mills (28) was living in East Vincent Township, Chester County, PA in the home of Catherine Tyson (54), his Mother-in-law. Also listed are his Wife Hannah (28) and their 4 children: Catherine (8), John (6), Hannah "Jennie" (3) and Mary (1). His wife Hannah dies in September of 1850
The 1860 U.S. Census shows Solomon Mills still living in East Vincent Township with the occupation of "Beef Butchery" and real estate valued at $1,800. None of his 4 children with Hannah are listed. Solomon Mills (37) is remarried to Margaret ---(40) and they have 2 children: Frederick (8) and Jesse (2). NOTE: Frederick William Milles dies 0n 15 Oct 1862.
