Brief overview:

Naomi (46) came out of hospital the Friday before, recovering from a mild stroke. She was a nurse at Garden City Hospital, her husband worked in the security department. Monday morning the 23rd August 1994, Naomi went to the hairdresser and on her way home stopped at the butcher to buy meat. She then went home, parked her car on the pavement in front of her house and walked in. Unbeknown to her, there were 3 intruders in her house. She put the steak on the table and they attacked her. They took her clothes iron and hit her in the face with it. That knocked her cold. They then tied her hands and feet behind her back with the electric cord. Then took her husband's tie and strangled her to death. But whilst all this was going on, her husband phoned home and the attackers accidentally kicked the phone. Her husband then heard them speak in their language and he knew something was up. He took 10 minutes to get home from Garden City to Claremont, but by the time he got there she was already dead.. Dead at 46. She left 6 kids behind. The youngest was only about 10.
