Stanley Danielowski

Stanley Danielowski was my Grandfather on my mothers side and he died before I was 2 years old so I really don't know my grandfather very well. I know he loved to cook and he spoke Polish and english.

Mom tells me a lot he absolutly loved to eat Pig's feet and Pig's snout.

I know my Grandfather worked hard to provide for his family and he loved his family very much.

Him and mom had their problems when she was a teenager but he was a proud grandfather when we grandchildren came along.

Mom has a picture of Grandma and Grandpa Danielowski Holding Shaun and I when I was a baby, that is the only thing I have to remember him by and it is worth every bit of that photograph.

Him and Grandma were married for several years before he passed and I have learned some very interesting things about my Grandfather.

My grandfather wanted to Join the Army and did, he used one of his brothers birthcertificates or social security cards to join, My grandfather was about 17 - 18 years old at the time, and he did a tour in WWII, he cam home from the war with belly wounds and a purple heart for bravery and injury served durring the war.

My Grandfather I have heard was never the same ater that. would never talk about the war and never wanted to be reminded of it.
