Stattie was a twin with Nancy Belle White, probably named after her mothers sister Statira. Statties family was very well known in the area. Stattie and Nancy had delayed birth certificates. Gram Effie met her once soon after her and Gramps Scott got married and said she lived in an old fashioned house and remembers going there, but not where it was.
