About Stella M. Lehman (Adkisson)

Stella Mae Lehman, 83, of Farnam, died March 20, 1993, at Gothenburg.

She was born Nov. 11, 1909, to John and Mable Rose Adkisson. She attended high school at Farnam before marrying Roland Lehman on June 20, 1928, at Stockville. The couple lived south of Farnam until Roland retired in 1971 when they moved into Farnam. She was a member of the Farnam United Methodist Church and the Sunshine Extension Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband on May 23, 1981; six brothers, Harold, Harry, Dale, Cecil, Ellis and Earl Adkisson; three sisters, Edna Hathaway, Hazel Lillihorn and Rita Faye Adkisson; and two grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Mildred (Mrs. Raymond) Tillotson of Farnam; two sisters, Zella Messersmith of Farnam and Lula Stapp of Cambridge; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Farnam.

McVay Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
