Hello! I am Stephanie and I have been newly attacked by the genealogy bug. It is like a huge personal puzzle combined with a monster scrapbook project plus a gazillion brain teasers. My brain is so excited.

I have a fairly large family - even within the first few generations. My grand hope is not only that I can find where we all come from and the great stories behind that, but also that it can be a place where cousins and aunts and uncles can come check out what is going on in everyone else's lives. I have cousins that I haven't talked to since I was a kid and they have kids who's names I don't even know. So we shall see.

I currently live in Bay City with a pair of dogs and a very demanding, but lovable, cat. I have a super hot boyfriend that also is conveniently very sweet. I blog about all (okay, most) of my life at http://thiswomansview18.blogspot.com/ and I like it when people leave me comments. So do that. I have a slightly bent sense of humor, am an out and proud nerd, want to be a teacher or a writer or an astronaut one day when I grow up, and love and value my family more than anything else. And I also write run-on sentences and start them with the word 'and' all the time....my apologies to every English teacher I have ever had. I just can't stop myself.
