Stephen Akers

Stephen Akers was born in 1825 at Kentucky. He was the son of David Daniel Akers and Elizabeth Collier. Stephen Akers married Sarah Hamilton, daughter of Jesse Hamilton and Pheninah Hall, on November 15, 1847 at Pike County, Kentucky. He married Marriba Bentley. Stephen Akers died in 1880.

He appeared on the census of 1860 at Floyd County, Kentucky, listed as Stephen age 35 born in Kentucky, head of house.
