Stephen Gould (1748-1805) was a minute man in Capt. Eldad Wright's company, Col. Samuel Williams' regiment, which marched on the Lexington Alarm, serving later as sergeant, under Capt. Reuben Petty, same regiment, 1777. He was born in Sutton, Mass.; died in Guilford, Vt. Stephen Gould served in the Revolutionary War, marching 20 Apr 1775 from Northfield and Warwick, Mass, to Cambridge in 1775.
