About Stephen Winchester, Jr.
Stephen Winchester, Jr. (1820 - 1851), son of Stephen Winchester, Sr and Nancy Case, was born 21 September 1820 at Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania. He married Mary Grey Pearson (1828 - 1905), daughter of Thomas Pearson and Jane Moody, on 7 February 1846 at Nauvoo, Hancock County, Illinois. They had four children. He emigrated to Utah with his parents, wife, and a sister and brother, with the Howard Egan Company of 1849. He died at the age of 30 on 5 August 1851 at Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah Territory, and was buried at the Salt Lake Cemetery, Plot: C_13_7_1E.
Following the death of Stephen in 1851, Mary Grey Pearson married Charles Crismon.
