Sterling Bartley

Sterling Bartley, age 76, of Albion passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Lifespan Hospice under the loving care of his family. He was born December 13, 1938 in Penny, Kentucky the son of Cecil and Bertha (Newsome) Bartley. He married Katie L. Bartley on March 7, 1959 in Long Fork, KY and she survives.

Sterling is also survived by two brothers, Merlin (Hazel) Bartley and Vernon (Ollie Jean) Bartley; sisters-in-law: Dotty Strohmenger, Ollie Jean (Vernon) Bartley and Hazel (Merlin) Bartley, brother-in-law, Tex (Brenda) Bartley; special nieces and nephews: Sheri Pottle, Drew Stohmenger, Tony Bartley, Gary Bartley, Starr Shreves, Susan Gilbert, Kim Cook and Randy Bartley, and several great nieces and nephews.

Sterling was preceded in death by his parents, brothers-in-law: Malvery Tackett and Renny Strohmenger, sister-in-law, Glenna Tackett and niece, Diana Higdon.

Sterling's family will receive family and friends for visitation on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the Fellowship Baptist Church, 25013 W. Michigan Ave., Albion.

Funeral Service will be Monday, March 23, 2015 at the Church at 11 a.m. with Pastor Earl Greer officiating. Burial will follow at Albion Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church.
