Susannah Stafford

Susannah married JOSEPH (JOSIAH) STAFFORD on 02 February 1807 in Edmeston, Otsego Co., NY. He was born Abt. 1784 in Coventry or East Greenwich, RI, and died 24 February 1860 in Virgil, Cortland Co. , N.Y.

Henry Stafford, one of the executors named in the will said, Joseph Stafford, the deceased had 11 children Laura Underwood, Arnold Stafford, Fianna Stowell, Hopkins Stafford, Josiah Stafford, Henry Stafford, Joseph Stafford Jr. deceased, Oliver Stafford, Gardner Stafford, Horace G. Stafford & Miles Stafford. Joseph died 2 years ago last fall, he resided in Freetown-he left three children-Henrietta Stafford, Howard Stafford & Abner Stafford they are all minor. My father lived in Virgil over 40 years-he was born in the state of RI, he came from RI to Otsego Co & Otsego Co. to Virgil, he was a farmer. Joseph is buried in Forest Lawn Cemetary, Blodgett Mills, New York.

v. JOSIAH STAFFORD, b. 30 January 1815. had 9 children.

vi. HENRY STAFFORD, b. 27 January 1817 had 7 children Lived in Homer, Cortland Co., NY for 16 years

vii. JOSEPH STAFFORD, JR., b. 28 January 1820; d. Abt. 1858, Freetown, Cortland Co., NY.

viii. OLIVER STAFFORD, b. 25 April 1821.

ix. GARDNER STAFFORD, b. 14 April 1824.
