Suzanne Jaroussel was born about 1641 in Perigny, La Rochelle, Aunis, France; the daughter of Pierre Jaroussel and Jacquette Tourault. She arrived in the Quebec Colony as a href="http://www.oocities.com/weallcamefromsomewhere/Kebec/filles_marier.... contracted to be the bride of Pierre Joinault.  They were married August 30, 1654 in Ville De Quebec.

Pierre was born on September 24, 1629 in La Rochelle, Aunis, France; and died soon after their wedding in Batiscan, Quebec.  They had no children.

After the death of her first husband, Suzanne married Simon Lereau on November 27, 1655 in Ste-Famille, Ile De Orleans. Simon was born about 1626 at St. Come-de-Vair, Maine, France; the son of Rene Lereau and Marguerite Guillin. He and Suzanne wouldhave seven children before his death on November 12, 1679 in Ville De Quebec. Suzanne followed on November 01, 1694.

An additional note about Suzanne.  Her mother alse arrived in Quebec as a Filles Marier; widowed from Pierre Jaroussel; and married twice more. Marie Jaroussel Lereau Was born about 1658 at Ste-Famille and died unknown in Port Royal Acadia.  She married Jean Guy from St. Nicolas, La Rochelle; the son of Jean Guy Sr. and Jeanne Lucre.  He and Marie had six children before his death on January 06, 1710 at Port Royal: Marie, Jean-Baptiste, Marguerite, Madeleine, Maximillien and Pierre-Michel.  After Jean's death, Marie married Etienne Sicotte on July 07, 1710; but the couple had no children.

</strong>Pierre Jaroussel Lereau - Was born on January 01, 1661in Ste-Famille and died on November 24, 1711 at Charlesbourg.  He married Marguerite Badeau; daughter of Pierre Badeau and Marguerite Chalifour. Marie-Catherine Jaroussel Lereau - Was born on March 16, 1663 and died on March 30, 1663 at Ste-Famille.

Catherine Jaroussel Lereau - Was born on May 03, 1664 and died a week later on May 9, at Ste-Famille.

Anne Jaroussel Lereau - Was born on June 07, 1665 at Ste-Famille and died on July 20, 1715 in St. Nicolas at Levi.  She married Francois Frechette from St. Martin's Parish in Paris, France; and the couple had seven children:  Francois, Marie-Ursule, Marie-Anne, Marie, Jean-Baptiste, Genevieve and Elisabeth-Agnes.

Sixte Jaroussel Lereau
 - Was born on October 09, 1667 and died on August 12, 1717 in Ste-Famille.  He married Reine Deblois; daughter of Francois Deblois and <a href="http://www.oocities.com/weallcamefromsomewhere/Kebec/francoise_vige...">Francoise Viger</a>; and the couple had a son named Simon.

Marie-Magdeleine Jaroussel Lereau - Was born on September 26, 1669 at Ste-Famille and died on February 06, 1741 at La Prairie.  She married Jean Laroche and the couple had thirteen children:  Marie-Marguerite, Jean-Pierre, Charles, Gabriel, Marie, Pierre, Jean, Catherine, Marie-Josephe, Marie-Anne, Madeleine, Pierre-Francois and Francoise.</td></p><p></tr></p><p></tbody></p></table>
