Suzanne Largent

Suzanne (Sorrenson) Stewart passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2009 surrounded by family and friends after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She was born on June 15, 1934 in Peoria, Illinois to Stan and Marion Sorrenson and has an older brother, Kenneth Sorrenson. Sue leaves behind her devoted husband of 27 years, Otis Stewart; her loving sons, Steve Largent, Jeff Largent, and Craig Cargill; along with Otis' children, Herby Stewart, Linda Knott, and Ron Stewart. She was preceded in death by her second son, Doug Largent. Her greatest joys were her 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Sue was a fun loving gal who loved to travel the world with her First Southern Baptist friends; most of the time with Otis in tow. She spent most of her life at sporting events, cheering on her sons and grandchildren. She was a kind and loving lady that will be missed by many. She is at peace and at home with the Lord. Services will be held at First Southern Baptist Church of Del City at 10:00 AM on Wednesday January 28, 2009 under the direction of Ford Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery on Northwest Expressway in Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
