About Sylvain Guérin
Good old Sylvain was quite a man!!! condemned for bigamy, he was hung!

After three years in New France with Marie Brazeau, Sylvain Guérin had returned to Germany and then to Amboise. Abused and knowing that Sylvain has already
a wife in Canada, his German wife reported him to the local justice. Pasquier relates to Marie Sylvain Brazeau was sentenced to be hanged in Amboise for biga-
mie. Sylvain has appealed his sentence to the Parliament of Paris, but his chances seem slim escape. The second Madame Guérin subsequently returns to his country of origin.
