Mrs Vanie Wood died at her home near Powell's Station, yesterday morning at 7 o'clock. Mrs Wood was an old and most estimable lady and leaves many friends to mourn her loss. She was an consistent member of the Baptist Church for many years and died in the proud consciousness of having made peace with her Savior. Funeral services today at 10 o'clock at the Wood's burying ground near Powell's.
