Tabitha Callaway

Tabitha Callaway was born December 1, 1792 in Fayette County, Kentucky, daughter of Flanders Isham Callaway and Jemima (Boone) Callaway. Her mother, Jemima, was the daughter of the famous frontiersman, Daniel Boone.

Within the Callaway family, she is the sister of Sarah (1779), John Boone (1781), James (1783), Frances (1785), Susannah (1791), Larkin (1794), Elizabeth (1797) and Minerva Boone (1801) Callaway.

She married Abraham Darst. The 4 children of their Darst family are Lorena (1811), Emory Holman (1814), Patrick Ewing (1816) and John Grubs (1818) Darst.

In 1827, Tabitha (Callaway) Darst, around age 34, died in Missouri with place of burial unverified.
