About Tamar Grimes
GEDCOM Source
Age: 71-72
GEDCOM Note
BIOGRAPHY: There is as yet no documentary proof that Tamar is James's daughter. However, there were no other Tuffin families documented in Herring Neck at the time, and James had five young girls living with him in at the time of the 1836 census. Taken together, these circumstances lead me to believe that Tamar, who came from Herring Neck, was his daughter. Note that Tamar was also a family name in James' family and is a fairly unusual one for Newfoundland.
