Te Hurihanga Susan Jones

JONES. Te Hurihanga Susan (Sue), (nee Kaio). On 9th September 2016, at Arbor House, Greytown. In her 89th year. Loved mother of Paul Walker (Tauranga). Dearly loved wife of the late Doug Jones (Manutuke, Gisborne) and stepmother of his children. Daughter of the late Richard (Dick) and Raukawa Rose Kaio (Carterton). Eldest sister of her surviving sisters Putu Mete-Smith, Awhina Rewi and Margery Grant, and surviving cousin Coreen Fawcett. She will be missed sadly by her many nieces and nephews and their families. A Funeral Service for Sue was held today at Papawai Marae Greytown, followed by interment in the family Urupa at Moiki. The family would very much like to acknowledge and thank all the staff and caregivers at Arbor House for their care and dedication to "Aunty Sue".
