Brief overview:

Tefo (46), an employee at Tikwe Lodge, Virginia, was found dead, lying on the floor of the reception area with a gunshot wound to his head. This according to police spokesperson Mamello Mokhuoane. He was certified dead at the scene by paramedics at about 02h00 on Tuesday morning. Mokhuoane said police also found a security guard tied up in the guard-house at the main gate, and another guard who managed to untie herself and alert the police.

Police said it appeared that in the region of 16 perpetrators overpowered the two guards at the main gate. They ransacked the office, and stole the safe, along with alcohol, cigarettes, and an unknown amount of cash.
