About Tengku Abdul Jalil ibni al-Marhum Sultan Hussain
4) Y.A.M. Tengku ‘Abdu’l Jalil ibni al-Marhum Sultan Husain Mu’azzam Shah. b. at Bulang, Riau, 29th November 1813 (s/o Cik Wuk), educ. privately. Settled at Muar. m. (first) Y.M. Tengku Halima binti Tengku Wuk (b. at Dungun, Trengganu, 1799; d. at Singapore, 12th August 1886, aged 90 years, bur. there at the Masjid Sultan Cemetery), daughter of Y.M. Tengku Wuk Ismail, of Dungun, by his wife, Che’ Amina binti ‘Abdu’llah, a Chinese convert to Islam. m. (second) at Muar, 1852, Wan Fatima binti Temenggong Ibrahim [Ungku Tik], younger daughter of Wan Ibrahim bin Temenggong Burok, Engku Temenggong Paduka Tuan of Muar. m. (third) Cik Amina. m. (fourth) Cik Basik. m. (fifth) Cik Halima. m. (sixth) Cik Fatima (d. in childbirth, at Pulau Tekong, Singapore, 1869). He d. at Singapore, before 12th November 1870 (bur. there at the Masjid Sultan Cemetery), having had issue, ten sons and two daughters.
