About Teotlaco de Tacuba
According to mestizo historian Fernando Alva Ixtlilxochitl, she was the daughter of Totoquihuaztli, the last pre-Hispanic ruler of Tlacopan. Tlacopan was one of three city-states that formed part of the Aztec Triple Alliance (the other two being Tenochtitlan and Texcoco), creating the so-called Aztec Empire, regarded locally as "Mexica".
