Teresa Audrey Gunn

2005 (December 11): Gunn, Teresa Audrey, 1978-2005 Teresa’s ex-partner Jason August Reihana drove from his Te Kawa home near Te Awamutu to Tauranga. Armed with three knives, he broke into Teresa’s home at 128 Mansels Road, Greerton – where she and new partner George ‘Andrew’ Grabner were watching TV – and killed them both in a frenzied attack. Teresa’s brother-in-law Wiki Ngarimu also suffered serious injuries whilst protecting his partner and baby. Andrew’s body was found on the ground at a property across the street whilst Teresa was discovered dead in her backyard. Reihana was sentenced to life imprisonment with a non-parole period of 21 years in June 2007. He was released from prison on compassionate grounds by the Parole Board directs on Wednesday 17 July 2019.
