Thabo (13) and his mother, Roseline (27), from the village Tseki, in the Free State, were found hacked to death in a donga (an eroded dry creek bed) 500m from their home, on 20th August 2003. The mother's twin four-year-old daughters were found alone in the nearby house, said Captain Motarafi Ntepe.
