Mrs. Thelma Mae Smith Stout, 58, of Sutton, died Monday in Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital, Weston, after a long illness.
She was a 40-year resident of Braxton County and a member of Bug Ridge Community Church.
Surviving: husband, Wilson of Sutton: sons, Thomas E. of Alliance, OH, Randall A. and Wilson L., both of Sutton; daughters, Mrs. Cathy Weatherspoon of Alliance, Mrs. Vivian Adkins of Kenova; mother, Mrs. Lula T. Smith of Pueblo. CO: brothers, Everett Smith of Pueblo. Edward Smith of Fort Myers. FL, Frankie Smith of Hernando, FL; sisters. Mrs. Ethel Bartholomew of North Benton, OH, Mrs. Catherine Parker of Parkersburg, Mrs. Francis McDougle of Powhatan Point, OH; ten grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Bug Ridge Community Church, Sutton, with the Rev. Halman Nettles officiating. Burial will be in Gillespie Cemetery, Sutton. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton.
