About Theodore Anton Eichman, Jr.
from the Winona Daily News, May 12, 1964... Theodore A. Eichman Theodore A. Eichman, 73, 1053 E. Sanborn St., died at 10:50 a.m. at Veteran's Hospital, Minneapolis, after a long illness. He was born Nov. 9, 1890, to Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Eichman. He married Celia Norwicki, April 27, 1920, at St. Stanislaus Church. He served in the Navy during World War I, was a member of the VFW, St. Stanislaus Church, its Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus and the Loyal Star 66. He was a retired employee of the Chicago & North Western Railway. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Daniel and Raymond, Winona; two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Constance) Garringer, Lisle, Ill., and Mrs. Marcel (Louise) Konter, La Crosse; seventeen grandchildren, and one half-sister, Mrs. Louis (Frances) Hirsheimer, La Crosse. One son has died. Funeral services will be be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Watkowski Funeral Home and at 9 at St. Stanislaus Church, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. N.F. Grulkowski officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. by Msgr. Grulkowski and at 8 by the Knights of Columbus.
