Naturalized in District Court of St. Louis, Missouri on November 12, 1920. SS#057053172

Struck by taxicab while walking from his job as head chef at the George Washington Hotel to see his son Harry and wife Nan with their infant daughter Virginia on Thanksgiving night. It was to be the first time he was to see his only grandchild. He passed the next day from his injuries.
